In case you’re looking for a quick function to display the age of someone based on their birthdate, you may come across this script.

Well, that doesn’t work. Here’s a correct way to return an age:

//calculate years of age (input string: YYYY-MM-DD)
function age_in_years($birthday){

  $year_diff  = date("Y") - $year;
  $month_diff = date("m") - $month;
  $day_diff   = date("d") - $day;

}

Today I finalized a logo for the Broad Ripple Fall Music Festival. The fest takes place on October 13, and will take over all the usual music venues and more in Broad Ripple.

sideTrack Entertainment will promote a stage at Indy CD & Vinyl, featuring some of the best local electronic DJs.

This is a flyer for a special event, where PLUSH (presented by sideTrack, my entertainment company) features the Sound NutZ DJ team. I worked with DJ Aasch on this, who did most of the work, including the animation of the woman.

Today Small Box launched a new web site that I designed and developed. It’s for ClearMarket, a local direct mail marketing company.

A review I wrote about a show that featured some great bands - Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s, Everything, Now! and Jorma and the Movie Bare - at a venue that’s on the rise.

I wrote a preview about a benefit show for the bands that had their merch stolen. The lineup isn’t my cup of tea, but it’s for a good cause.
